From my Wardrobe – an (Edgy) Eclectic Clown Capsule Wardrobe
This is a very particular maximalist capsule wardrobe collection that I put together thanks to all my spring shopping! It has 23 pieces in total and I’m showcasing 32 outfits from it.
Although I would classify it as my own personal spring style, it definitely has a place within a quirky/colorful style personality.
As I was digitizing it and having fun putting together outfits, I thought I would share it with you here.

Edgy Eclectic clown spring 2024 capsule
This spring collection incorporates a fusion of a few styles, even though it’s generally quirky.
- Rock (edgy) elements, including leopard prints and band tees. I actually started with 2 oversized t-shirts that were rock tees, but as they started selling out, I swapped one for the bold printed ladies’ tee from Zara.
- An eclectic mix of fabrics, fits and motifs.
- The bold color outfit groupings + oversized elements add to the clownish bit. Especially when paired in unexpected and unusual ways.
As per many of my capsules, I use shirts as both base and over layers, to create more looks.
It’s fully made up of pieces that I own, or are very similar. Below are some of my favorite outfits styled from it.
I can’t wait to photograph myself wearing them, so you can see them come to life!

I hope this capsule has inspired you to add more color into your wardrobe and have fun mixing prints, patterns and contrasting tailored vs fluid elements.
Don’t worry, I’ll be writing posts on how easily create these combos from scratch, so watch out for those!
If you know me from my capsules, I usually create more tame and classic groupings, like those I sell in my my shop.
That’s because my clients and readers are normally beginners in their style journey and this rather advanced. However, bold style does have its place–in my and many other peoples’ wardrobes!
