Wide Leg Cheetah Print Pants Styled 17 Ways for Fall

I was all about animal prints last spring and I’m still obsessed with leopard and cheetah prints this fall!

This season I’m styling darker version of the cheetah print in a wide straight leg carpenter style. However, these outfits can easily go with another version of the print.

Creating cheetah print pant outfits involves knowing the right colors to wear with these neutral animal prints, and catering your finishing touches to the shape of the pants themselves.

How I’m wearing my CHeetah Print PAnts This Fall/Winter

COllage of 3 women wearing different outfits with cheetah print pants.

Today I’ll show you a few easy ways to wear cheetah print trousers, from casual to smart casual.

Of course, these prints aren’t always workplace friendly, so keep that in mind for more conservative office settings!

1. A Graphic Tee, Denim Jacket + Silver Sneakers

These pants are from GAP and fit to size (I’m wearing a 26 waist). This pant style is still trending for Fall/Winter 2024 along with a printed flared pants & jeans.

Starting off with a casual/relaxed styling of this printed pant, featuring my favorite graphic tee, denim jacket and new trending silver sneakers from Alohas.

2. STripe Tan/Black Crew Neck + Ankle Boots

If you follow me, you know how much I love stripes and prints and it’s really easy to do when the colors match. Just like this tan/black stripe crew neck sweater works with the neutral print.

This creates a contrasting, yet earthy feel. Black accessories keep the outfit toned down and balanced. An easy outfit with cheetah print pants for work if your office culture is ok with it!

3. With a Black Vest, Turtleneck + Red Loafers

The easiest way to style a cheetah or similar pant is with black–as it’s a prominent in the print. It really brings out the print and allows it to shine.

Since red is great with leopard, you can add a pop with your shoes. I chose a bright red loafer, but a kitten heel pump or sneaker would look fabulous for an elevated or more casual cheetah outfit.

I chose gold accents and accessories to tie the smaller elements such as the loafers together. The bold gold chain necklace isn’t for everyone, and you can swap it out for a finer pendant or opt out altogether.

4. STriped Tee + Black Blazer

Black and red again but turning turning it into an edgy outfit by incorporating leather star sneakers and stripes! All perfect elements along with cheetah pants for an edgy/rock style.

I love the look of a black blazer with cheetah pants and giving it a casual spin with black leather sneakers.

5. OversizeD Pink Sweatshirt + Green Platform Sneakers

Another favorite outfit with my cheetah print trousers that merges a relaxed and quirky style. It fully encompasses my own personal style.

I choose an oversized graphic print sweatshirt in a bright pink color and a green platform (my Adidas Gazelle Bolds reviewed here) to balance things out.

I added a little white shoulder bag that I scored for under $30 CAD from Amazon.

6. Thick Black Sweater + Western BElt

You can add a little western twist to your leopard pants with a western belt and boots! I designed this belt with Brave Leather and it’s such a statement piece, which can turn any outfit a bit edgy or country depending on the styling.

I semi-tucked in my oversized boxy black sweater and love how the brown suede cowboy style ankle boots soften the look.

7. Earth Tones: Tan Tee + Olive Green Jacket

Olive green mixes so well with leopard prints, especially if you add other neutral shades with it, like this tan tee and off-white/beige New Balance sneakers.

A quilted olive jacket, silky bomber or olive coat would also work well with a tan or beige sweater for the cooler temps.

8. Blue Shirt + Denim Jacket

Blue button front shirts have become a classic and it’s a great color to mix with a classic leopard or cheetah print bottom.

Just add a denim jacket or trench coat to make it fall friendly. Added white/off-white shoes and handbag to keep things neutral yet bright.

9. Oversized White Shirt

Prefacing this by saying that I didn’t realize my shirt wasn’t as pressed as it should have been lol oops. Ironically I preach tips on how not looking frumpy and one of these is to press your clothing, but I digress 😆

You can’t fail with a white shirt (when ironed!), printed pants and white sneakers. It’s a kind of effortless cool that goes a long way.

You could also move away from this more relaxed styling with cheetah print pants by swapping out the white shirt for an more fitted one with statement sleeves.

Tucking in the shirt, belting the pants and wearing loafers would look just a cool as less casual.

10. Light GRaphic Tee, QuilteD Jacket + BAllet Flats

Another relaxed/quirky style that I gravitate to. I adore this quilted jacket from Free People, and it looks so good styled with my all my pants including these relaxed cheetah print ones.

Since the jacket is more casual, a cute pair of ballet flats are an easy and quirky combination. I love how the graphic tee is picked up by the shoes.

A pair of rugged ankle boots like lug sole Chelsea boots could also look great!

11. Red Sweater + Black Sneakers for a Trendy Look

Cheetah or leopard prints with red look fab, so why not accentuate this combo this fall with black accessories?

The black and white Sambas give the look a contemporary and casual feel and I the gold details and jewelry tie well into their branding.

12. Edgy Style with Leather Moto Jacket

I love leopard and leather for an edgy style outfit with leopard pants! A somewhat cropped and boxy cut moto jacket works well with the trouser proportions.

A Western-shaped ankle boot is still edgy but a less on-the-nose if styled with moto boots. The white tank (you can easily sub with a sweater or long sleeve tee) and bag balance out the hues.

13. Preppy Look with Chunky Brown Turtleneck + Loafers

Another Earthy look, but make it preppy! Grab a cable knit turtleneck or crew neck sweater in any hue that matches the pants and match with classic penny loafers.

I love the dark chocolate brown as it’s a trending fall color and tones down the cheetah print. Beige socks are a great touch to keep your ankles warm!

You can add a brown, black or beige purse to complete the look. Fabulous styling by Anthropologie!

14. Cozy Grey Cardigan + BUrgundy Accessories

Burgundy and light grey are chef’s kiss with leopard or cheetah pants and skirts. The burgundy color and the cozy sweater (sub in a grey turtleneck or twinset) make it so stylish and on-trend for Fall/Winter.

The patent strappy pumps and minimal matching colored purse add fabulous final touches to elevate this outfit.

15. Half Zip chunky beige sweater + Beige Sneakers

Here’s another cozy sweater look, this time toned down with beige. These Tb.490 Rife Alohas sneakers (the same style as my silver ones) feature white detailing that, along with the hardware on the purse, adds dimension to the outfit.

Paired with cheetah jeans, this look is anything but boring—even with all the beige!

16. Over-the-Top Trendy Total Cheetah Look

Just because you’re wearing cheetah pants, doesn’t mean you can’t add a coordinating cheetah top!

An exact matching jacket is perfect because, left unbuttoned with the black tank popping out, it adds a visual break between the two leopard pieces.

Definitely a more edgy, yet on-trend style, with the buckle mule, shoulder bag and hoop earrings.

17. LEather VArsity Jacket + Converse Sneakers

And for the last look, we have the styling that influenced me to purchase these cheetah pants from GAP.

I love the collegiate style with the black leather varsity jacket and beige platform Converse. It makes the very prominent print easy to wear as an everyday casual outfit.
